Energy rehabilitation and expantion of the CEIP Elisa Badia in Barbera del Vallès. For years, in phases, projects have been made to rehabilitate the building energetically and to progressively expand the school. The exterior enclosures have been modified, adding insulation to the facades, changing the exterior carpentry for some with better features and adding a system of adjustable slats to regulate the entrance of the sun and heat. On the ground floor, the existing porch has been closed to expand the building and house the new nursery classrooms, its outdoor classrooms and vegetable porches, with direct entrance and connection to the patio.
